Hey, Alan. Great to see the new work. The feeling of flight in this one is so interesting to me because I feel like I'm cradled between the two strong forms, at once restrained and yet invited to move forward.
Well!!! How about that! I thought she looked a little sexy, and was trying to remember her from ISS. Now I know the naughty ones willn't come up, and I was so happy to get a comment!
thank you le
Hi Fran , I can access my page with no problem (probably did not clarify before ) , but there are two comments that will not open for me . When I click on them the message says the page is not available or yikes there has been an error . I am enjoying looking at the work of some of the new members. Hope you are well . The " dog days " heat and humidity is turning on but the rest of summer has been very nice. Best , Jane
Hi Fran,
Summer is moving quickly along. We have had alot of heat for our part of the world. We welcome it as it is often rainy here. We are building a cookhouse for our rivercamp a two-hour hike downstream. Very wild. Very physical. Fall the trees, mill the lumber, build the building, just like they did a hundred years ago. I hope you are well and happy.
Thanks for introducing me to the Nancy. Best wishes, Alice
Hey!! We are in Dedham have seen lots of art buddies. Check out my web site- bessartis.com . The rain has not yet stopped- no sun. Hope all is well with you? Bess
Hi Fran, My e-mail is inkruss@mindspring.com. We have a high spam filter on which has not been liking My Art Buddies. I am hope that it will work for me. I unfortunately have not picked up a brush since I have been back but hope to soon. My son , Eric , is graduating from Middle School (big deal here) and will be starting high school next year so we have been busy with all that. I loved the ISS this year and will be back next year. Thanks for all your help. Donna
Watermedia - I have been painting full time since 1965 and worked almost exclusively in watercolor until 7 years ago, when I began using acrylics as if they were watercolor. In 1983 I began to use frames I carve and paint myself to make my paintings objects, not windows. My work is landscape referenced, highly colored and is my personal view of the world.
About Me:
Painter and instructor. I teach for watercolor societies in the US,, the Intensive Studies Seminar (see link) and give two small workshops in my Santa Fe studio every year.
You can view my current work online at the website below, which takes you to Manitou Galleries in Santa Fe.
