- About Me:
- I've been painting, off and on, for about 15 years, in CO, MN and AZ. My paintings are plein air landscapes, still life, imagined figures, but I've not yet found "my style". I've been noticing that I seem to like simplified shapes, brilliant colors.
For the past year and a half, I've been vice president of Southern Arizona Watercolor Guild, while we put on the 33rd Annual Western Federation of Watercolor Societies Exhibition. While working very hard in that capacity, I was surprised to find out, when it ended, that I had painted 28 small paintings during that time. It didn't feel as if I had time to paint at all, and it didn't feel like enough, so I was surprised that I had done so many. Now I am anxious to get back in the groove and do some serious painting.
I have heard so many good things about ISS from friends who have been there, and I'm hoping that in Spring of '09, I will get to go, too.
